As expected, Xiaomi has formalized the arrival in France of three smartphones: the Mi 11 Ultra, the Mi 11i and the Redmi Note 10 5G. The new flagship of the range is already available. It is sold at 1200 euros. The Redmi Note 10 5G will arrive in mid-May for less than 250 euros. The Mi 11i will be the last to be marketed in France. It won’t happen until the end of May.
Xiaomi had promised us many new things during the spring. And the Chinese brand has effectively supplied the French market with many smartphones on its three brands: Xiaomi, Redmi and Poco. You have already been able to discover many tests in recent months, from the “classic” Mi 11, to the Poco X3 Pro, including the Redmi Note 10 and the Redmi Note 10 Pro. And it is obviously not over yet.

Xiaomi had in fact made an appointment with its French community to announce the arrival of new products. We suspected that the Mi 11 Ultra would be part of the lot. This was obviously the case. However, it remained to be seen if other models would accompany it. And the answer is yes. A total of three smartphones will arrive on the stalls of the French brands: the Mi 11 Ultra, the Mi 11 i and the Redmi Note 10 5G.
Mi 11 Ultra: a flagship sold at the price of … a flagship
Remember that all these models have already been made official by Xiaomi in China. We will therefore not go into their technical characteristics in detail. Also note that you can already find in our columns the complete test of the Mi 11 Ultra, certainly THE high-end smartphone that fans of the brand expect the most. In writing, we were pleasantly surprised by this phone and its secondary display on the back, the relevance of which is less on the possibility of taking selfies with the main sensor, but more on the deportation of certain controls and notifications.
A pleasant surprise that does not come alone, since Xiaomi announces that the Mi 11 Ultra is already available. It is only offered in one version, with 12 GB of RAM and of 256 GB of storage. And it is sold at Bouygues Telecom, SFR, Orange, Fnac, Darty, Boulanger, Auchan, Cdiscount, Rueducommerce, LDLC and Materiel.net (not to mention the Mi offline and online stores). In short, almost everywhere. Only small problem, the price. The Mi 11 Ultra is sold at 1199.90 euros excluding subsidies and promotions. However, it is still cheaper than an iPhone 12 Pro Max. It’s already that.
Redmi Note 10 5G: Xiaomi offers 5G for less than 230 euros
Chronologically, the second smartphone of the trio to arrive in France will be the Redmi Note 10 5G. It will be available on May 18, 2021. Even more than the Mi 11 Ultra, the Redmi Note 10 5G will benefit from a launch supported by all operators, even Free Mobile, and by all brands, specialized or food. It will be very difficult for you not to find it if you want to buy it.
The Redmi Note 10 5G will come in two versions. The first, the one you can find almost everywhere, is equipped with 4 GB of RAM and of 64 GB of storage. It will be sold at 229.90 euros (recommended retail price, of course). If the prospect of having only 64 GB scares you, there are two things that will interest you. First, a 128 GB version will also be on sale. It will cost 269.90 euros and will be exclusive to Bouygues Telecom (not to mention the Mi Store, of course). Or 40 euros more. Then a microSDXC card reader is integrated.
Mi 11i: a Mi 11 sold much cheaper?
The last smartphone to arrive in France will be the Mi 11i. Some in the editorial staff are eager to test it and, most importantly, to compare it with the Mi 11 which was the subject of our first live on YouTube in March 2021. It will be available at the end of May (certainly May 28). Its selling price will be 699.90 euros (recommended public price, excluding promotion and subsidy) with 8 GB RAM and 256 GB of storage not expandable.
It will be offered by the four French operators and a dozen brands. It will be the subject of a pre-order campaign starting May 11. The Mi 11i could be the Mi 11 we expected earlier this year. This is perhaps one of the pleasant surprises of spring. Response at the end of the month. In the meantime, find our video test of the Mi 11 below.
