A Xiaomifinally, revealed the global edition of the line Xiaomi 12. The cell phones were announced outside the borders of China on Tuesday (15) with recharge of up to 120 watts and storage of up to 256 GB in the advanced data sheet. The trio still has a triple camera of 50 megapixels, MIUI 13 factory default and 120 Hz display.
The trio initially made their debut at the end of last year. In December, Xiaomi unveiled the Xiaomi 12 and 12 Pro to the Chinese public, making it one of the first to be launched with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor. At the time, the Xiaomi 12X was also unveiled, but with the Snapdragon 870.
Now, it is the turn of the Mi 11 successors to be presented in other countries. Starting with the Xiaomi 12 Prothe launch draws attention for the 4,600 mAh battery with 120 watt recharge. According to the manufacturer, the component can go from 0% to 100% in just 18 minutes, when using a compatible accessory.
The technical sheet also has other highlights. This is the case of the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor, one of the most powerful today. In addition, the Xiaomi mobile will hit stores with the following combinations of RAM and storage:
- 8 GB + 256 GB;
- 12 GB + 256 GB.
Xiaomi 12 Pro has triple 50 megapixel camera
The triple photographic set is another highlight. In addition to the 50-megapixel main camera, the Pro edition has two more sensors with the same resolution. But, of course, there are differences between the two elements: while the secondary sensor has an ultrawide lens, the third component has a telephoto lens.
The screen also deserves attention. The Xiaomi 12 Pro’s display has 6.73 inches, WQHD+ resolution (3200 x 1440 pixels) and a hole to house the 32 megapixel front camera. The LTPO panel capable of dynamically adjusting the refresh rate between 1 Hz and 120 Hz is another point that attracts the spotlight.
Xiaomi 12 and 12X are smaller and powerful
The Xiaomi 12 and 12X have some commonalities. It is the case of smaller screen than the Pro edition, 6.28 inches, and the 32-megapixel front camera in a hole allocated to the center of the AMOLED panel. In addition, the duo has Full HD+ resolution and 120 Hz refresh rate.
Both phones have a triple camera on the back. In addition to the main sensor of 50 megapixels, the duo brings another camera with a resolution of 13 megapixels and an ultrawide lens. The set is completed with the 5 megapixel sensor for macro.
The duo’s technical sheet is advanced, but with different chips
Despite being advanced, it is important to highlight the differences in the technical sheet. While Xiaomi 12 comes with Snapdragon 8 Gen 1, the Xiaomi 12X brings the Snapdragon 870. Both phones also have a 4,500mAh battery, but only the conventional edition has wireless charging and reverse charging.
Check out the RAM and space options of the duo:
- Xiaomi 12: 8GB + 128 GB, 8GB + 256 GB e 12 GB + 256 GB;
- Xiaomi 12X: 8 GB + 128GB, 8GB + 256 GB.
That is, you can say that the Xiaomi 12X is the simplest yet powerful version of the trio. The conventional variant, in turn, is in the middle of the road.
Another difference is the version of the operating system. In fact, both editions come with MIUI 13 of manufactures. But only the conventional variant reaches the consumer with Android 12. The 12X model, on the other hand, is marketed with Android 11.
