See how to consult the Nota Fiscal Paulista and withdrawals

A São Paulo Invoice (NFP) is the program created by the government of São Paulo in 2007 to encourage consumers to demand the tax document (bill or coupon) at the time of their purchases. In this way, the state guarantees the collection of certain taxes while rewarding customers with cashback and the possibility of big financial jackpots.

However, since the program came into operation, many doubts have arisen, especially in relation to credit granted to consumers. After all, how is the value of points received calculated? How often can a paulistano withdraw the balance?

We will answer these questions through this guide on how to consult the NFP and use the credits.

How are credits calculated?

The NFP values are generated based on the amount recorded in the tax coupon. According to the program rules, up to 20% of the Tax on the Circulation of Goods and Services (ICMS) of the document can be returned to the consumer.

However, to have the right to redeem the NFP credits to the bank account, the participant must accumulate at least R$ 25. The São Paulo Finance Department (SEFAZ-SP) releases new batches of credits twice a year, in April and October.

How to check the balance?

It is important to note that the government of the state of São Paulo provides two ways of interacting with the NFP program. It is possible to make the credit inquiries directly through the website or using the application.

Using the browser

To make a query through the website, you need to follow these steps:

Step 1 — go to the next page and fill in the login information, but if you don’t have an account yet, you can create a new one for individuals and companies;
