Realme took advantage of the MWC show in Barcelona to announce the arrival in Europe of its flagship GT 2 series, with a Pro model with an impressive equipment price ratio.
Unveiled in China last January, Realme’s first high-end smartphone, the GT 2 Pro is finally arriving in Europe and therefore in France. A real monster of power with its Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor, the latest from the Chinese brand, appreciated by connoisseurs for its tight prices, relies on a latest generation screen and quality photo equipment to convince.
A “Super Reality” AMOLED screen rewarded for its quality
enjoying protection Gorilla Glass Victus, the large 6.7-inch screen of the Realme GT 2 Pro benefits from very high definition (2K) combined with LTPO technology in its 2.0 version which ensures adaptive refreshment from 1 to 120 Hz. Capable of displaying the smallest detail , the panel, certified HDR10+, offers 10-bit color depth (with more than a billion colors).
According to Realme, its brightness can reach 1400 nits if necessary (in direct sunlight, for example), with a level that finely and automatically adjusts to preserve the battery while ensuring maximum comfort. This screen has been awarded the maximum score by DisplayMate, an A+, a guarantee of good quality. Finally, gamers will appreciate the very high sampling rate of 1000 Hz, for increased responsiveness.
A powerful and controlled Snapdragon
Engraved in 4 nm, the new Qualcomm processor provides unprecedented performance that will delight gamers. A power already verified in the benchmarks with more than 1,000,000 in the Antutu score which could quickly heat up equipped smartphones! To maintain a high level of performance, Realme has implemented a whole new cooling system to lower the temperature by up to 3 degrees, thanks to an impressive heat dissipation area.
A promising triple photo module
Like the recent Realme 9 Pro, the GT 2 Pro is equipped at its main wide-angle lens with Sony’s excellent and large IMX766 (1/1.56) sensor. This 50 megapixel sensor has optical stabilization for photos and electronic stabilization for videos. The device also features the first ultra wide-angle at 150 degrees. This field of vision allows for wider panoramas and benefits from a fish-eye mode. Finally, a third sensor is associated with a 40X 2.0 microlens for macro photography. Realme promises easier focusing with four times greater depth of field.
Realme GT 2 Pro: designed with respect of the planet
Realme collaborated with Naoto Fukusawa, a renowned industrial designer, to design the shell of the smartphone. Its manufacture in polycarbonate and siloxane copolymer, a biosourced resin from Sabic, allows a significant reduction in CO2 emissions, while being as robust as usual. The GT 2s are available in four colors (Paper White, Paper Green, Steel Black and Titanium Blue) and undergo a 0.1 mm laser engraving process. The packaging of the mobile is of course recyclable.
Finally, the Realme GT 2 Pro is equipped with a 5000 mAh battery and benefits from 65 W fast charging. The smartphone works with realme UI 3.0 on top of Android 12 and the manufacturer promises 3 years of system updates.
The Realme GT2 Pro will be available from March 11 at a price of 749.99 euros. The GT 2 which embeds the Snapdragon 888 processor will be marketed at a price of 549.99 euros. Good news : Realme announces promotions on the occasion of the launch. The Realme GT 2 will be offered at a starting price of 449 euros for the version with 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage. The version with 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage will be marketed at 599 euros.
For its part, the Realme GT 2 Pro will be sold at 649 euros (8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of ROM). The 12 GB RAM and 256 GB storage edition can be purchased for 749 euros. To take advantage of the promotions, you must order the smartphone as soon as pre-orders open on March 8.
