As expected, Oppo presented on March 11, 2021 its three new smartphones from the Find range: the Find X3 Pro, X3 Neo and X3 Lite. All three models will arrive in France at the end of March, but pre-orders will start on March 18. Provided with balanced technical sheets, they will be sold respectively at 1149 euros, 799 euros and 499 euros.
The date was set: Oppo today presented the three models of its Find X3 range. Unsurprisingly, we find the X3 Pro, X3 Neo and X3 Lite, which have been widely leaked on the web in recent weeks, whether the technical sheet of the Find X3 Pro, the design of the three models and even some official videos. They obviously replace the Find X2 Pro, Find X2 Neo and Find X2 Lite from 2020. No real surprise. In fact, the technical specifications of its three phones have been somewhat revealed as well. But a few surprises were not unveiled. Especially since some are good. And that is great news.

First good news, the iconic model, the Find X3 Pro, is cheaper than its predecessor: 1149 euros, instead of the 1199 euros requested for the Find X2 Pro. However, there is a downside: internal storage, still not expandable, goes from 512 GB to 256 GB. According to a survey by Oppo, the vast majority of high-end smartphone users consume 200 GB or less of storage. Hence this choice which also makes it possible to lower the bill while improving other points in the technical sheet.
Find X3 Neo becomes affordable flagship
The price of the other two models is up slightly: 799 euros for the Find X3 Neo, like the Reno4 Pro (but 100 euros more expensive than the Find X2 Neo) and 499 euros for the Find X3 Lite, against 449 euros for its predecessor. The price difference between the X2 Neo and the X3 Neo is however justified thanks to the integration of a much more energetic platform: the Snapdragon 865, the SoC of flagships at the start of 2020. A very pleasant surprise.
Other good news, autonomy and recharging. The three smartphones see the capacity of their batteries increase, to reach from 4300 mAh to 4500 mAh depending on the model. They are also now all SuperVOOC 2.0 compatible (wired fast charging 65 watts), even the Find X3 Lite. Finally, the Find X3 Pro integrates the wireless charging. The lack of wireless charging was one of Oppo’s biggest complaints in 2020 with the Find X2 Pro. The power of wireless charging is 30 watts.
A new 50 megapixel sensor developed with Sony
Finally, a final important point: two of the three Find X3s benefit from a new photo sensor developed in partnership with Sony: theIMX 766 which Oppo (and OnePlus) will have exclusivity for one year. The definition of the sensor is 50 megapixels. It manages the colors in 10 bits (ie 1 billion colors). And his autofocus is bidirectional, like the main sensor of the Find X2 Pro. The Find X3 Pro integrates two IMX 766s: the main sensor and the sensor with ultra-wide-angle lens. The Find X3 Neo incorporates one. The Find X2 Lite has a sensor 64 megapixels more classic. All three phones share the same selfie sensor, a model 32 megapixels.
We had the opportunity to take control of the three models and the Find X3 Neo could be the very pleasant surprise of the start of the year at Oppo. Find the technical sheet of the three phones opposite in order to compare them with each other. The Find X3 Pro is very elegant with a new glass shell that includes the protrusion of the photo module. Find very soon in our columns, as well as on our YouTube channel, the complete test of the Find X3 Pro.

5G arrives in 2021 in affordable Oppo models
Like the three Find X2s and pretty much all of the 2020 Reno4s, the Find X3s are all 5G compatible. Connectivity that will be extended this year to the A range, information that Denis Morel, boss of Oppo France, has confirmed to us. The brand will therefore actively participate this year in the democratization of 5G, as was the case for the cousin brand OnePlus, with the North, last year.
The three Find X3 will be on sale on March 30. They will benefit from twelve days of pre-order, starting March 18 (with a few packs that the brand promises to be interesting, including some of the connected accessories launched in 2020).
