October on Netflix: check out the highlights of the month in streaming

Netflix Brasil revealed its schedule of highlights for the month of October, with many new features in movies and series for its subscribers.

Among the launches are the new series Good morning, Veronica, Someone Has To Die and Emily in Paris, the original films On the Way to the Moon, Rebecca – The Unforgettable Woman and The Chicago 7, in addition to recent seasons of popular series such as The Flash, Arrow, Riverdade and How to Get Away with Murder.

Series

  • Good morning, Veronica (1st day)

Verônica Torres (Tainá Müller) has a bureaucratic job at the Homicide Police Station in São Paulo. But in the same week that she comes across the case of a thug looking for his victims on the internet, she receives an anonymous call from a desperate woman with her life in danger. Determined, she decides to use all of her investigative skills to help both women: the young girl tricked by an internet scammer and Janete Cruz (Camila Morgado), wife subjugated by her husband Brandão (Eduardo Moscovis), an intelligent serial killer. From the same creator of Sex and the City, Darren Star, this series tells the story of Emily (Lily Collins), a young and ambitious Chicago marketing executive who gets her dream job in Paris. With her new lifestyle full of adventures and challenges, she needs to balance work, new friendships and love.

When a deadly virus strikes Moscow, a group of survivors flees into the forest, facing the disease, looters and internal rivalries themselves.

  • The Curse of Bly Mansion (day 9)

From the creator of The Curse of the Hill Residence, the new season of this anthology series brings a gothic and ghostly romance based on the work of Henry James.

The adventures take on a dark tone when Riverdale grieves in a different way and the class prepares for the final test: the last year of high school.

In this documentary series, a united group of deaf students tells their stories and discovers the good and bad sides of life at Gallaudet University.

This tragicomic anthology filmed in isolation shows the dark and fun side of people’s struggle to maintain the connection, even at a distance.

  • From Decoration to Makeover (day 16)

Shea and Syd McGee help clients make their dreams come true with decor that reflects each other’s personal style while building their own home.

  • Someone Has To Die (day 16)

In conservative Spain in the 1950s, the supposed relationship between a young man and a Mexican dancer has a number of dire consequences. A thriller by Mexican director and author Manolo Caro (The House of Flowers).

This season really takes the Discovery team where no one has ever been: 930 years in the future. And it is clear that the Federation has undergone some changes.

In this fictional retelling of the French Revolution, the future inventor of the guillotine discovers a disease that causes members of the nobility to kill ordinary citizens.

Five students from Brooklyn’s largest public school in New York face a chaotic world in the struggle for survival, freedom and a better future. Based on the play Slut, by Katie Cappiello, the series is produced by Joshua Donen (Exemplary Girl) and Beau Willimon (House of Cards).

  • Me, You and She: Season 5 (day 22)

This season, Izzy returns to Portland and discovers that life went on normally without her.

  • The Queen’s Gambit (day 23)

At a Kentucky orphanage in the 1950s, a girl discovers an impressive talent for chess as she struggles with the addiction and the problems that accompany her genius. Based on the novel by Walter Tevis, the miniseries was written and directed by Scott Frank, twice nominated for an Oscar.

  • Somebody Feed Phil: Season 4 (day 30)

  • Paternity test (Day 2)

An advertiser and a lawyer have a great marriage, but he wants to be a father and she is on the rise in her career, without thinking about children. How to solve this? He decides to bring another woman home.

  • The Forty-Year-Old Version (day 9)

Desperate for another hit before the age of 40, New York playwright Radha reinvents herself as a rapper and seeks her true voice between hip hop and the theater.

  • On the Way to the Moon (day 23)

  • Love with Date (day 28)

Rocky Balboa and Creed Collection

  • Rocky a Fighter (day 23)
