Motorola launches Moto G10 and G30 with quad camera in Brazil

The tenth generation of the Moto G was launched in Brazil this Thursday (25th) in three models: Moto G10, the brand’s new basic intermediary; Moto G30, which has a 90 Hz screen and 128 GB of storage; and Moto G100, top of the line with powerful processor and lots of RAM. Motorola’s new phones arrive in the country with suggested prices starting at R $ 1,699.

Moto G10 is the new basic intermediary from Motorola

The Moto G10 is Motorola’s bet for those who don’t want to spend a lot of money. It features a Snapdragon 460 octa-core processor below the Snapdragon 662 adopted by the Moto G9 Play, launched in September 2020. The new model will be sold in Brazil with 4 GB of RAM, 64 GB of space and a 5,000 mAh battery with a simpler, 10-watt charger.

An improvement over the previous generation is in the rear cameras: there are now four, including a 48-megapixel main, a new 8 MP ultrawide, the fateful 2 MP macro and a 2 MP depth sensor. At the front, which continues with a design very similar to the previous model, there is an 8 megapixel selfie camera.

With a 6.5-inch HD + screen and dedicated button for Google Assistant, the Moto G10 will have a suggested price of R $ 1,699. It marks a change in the software policy of the Moto G line, which used to have a guaranteed Android version update; on the Moto G10, Motorola only promises quarterly security fixes for two years.

Moto G30 has 90 Hz screen and quad camera

For two hundred reais more, Motorola already offers a more interesting set on the Moto G30: here we have a Snapdragon 662, an internal memory doubled to 128 GB and a screen with the same size and resolution, but a refresh rate of 90 Hz for greater fluidity. The charger included in the box is a 20-watt TurboPower, and the cameras also get upgrades.

In the rear cameras, the Moto G30 repeats some of the numbers of the Moto G9 Plus, only in a lower price range at launch. The main camera has 64 megapixels and comes with an ultrawide of 8 MP, a macro of 2 MP and a depth sensor of 2 MP. Video recording is limited to Full HD at 60 fps. The front camera has a resolution of 13 megapixels.

The Moto G30 will be sold in Brazil for R $ 1,899 and Android 11 at the factory. To the Tecnoblog, Motorola says the phone is guaranteed an Android version update (meaning it will receive Android 12), plus quarterly security fixes for two years.
