Motorola launches Edge 20 line in Brazil with prices up to R$4,999 | Cell phone

Just three weeks after the global announcement, the Motorola launched its new line of high-end cell phones in Brazil. The models Motorola Edge 20 Pro, Motorola Edge 20 and Motorola Edge 20 Lite arrive in the country with official prices ranging between R$ 2,999 and R$ 4,999.

In common, all three models come with a 6.7-inch OLED screen with a resolution of 2400×1080 pixels and HDR10+. Another feature shared by the three phones is the main rear camera with a 108 megapixel sensor, in addition to the 32 megapixel front camera.

The other specifications are what differentiate each model. As the name suggests, the Motorola Edge 20 Pro is the most advanced smartphone of the trio and, in fact, the most expensive. However, it is the only one that brings a periscope camera for 5x optical zoom (or 50x digital).

Edge 20 Pro is also the only one to feature the Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 chip. Edge 20 and Edge 20 Lite models feature Snapdragon 778G and MediaTek Dimensity 800U processors, respectively.

ready for

Motorola emphasizes that the Edge 20 line was prepared to provide experiences that go beyond the smartphone itself, which is why the three devices are compatible with the systems ready for, albeit at different levels.

O Ready For Wireless allows the smartphone to be connected to a TV or monitor with Miracast so that the user can play videos and perform other tasks on a larger screen. However, this technology is only compatible with Edge 20 Pro and Edge 20.

Another expansion feature is the Ready for PC, which integrates the cell phone with a Windows computer via Wi-Fi. From there, you can share content between the two devices or view smartphone notifications on the PC screen, for example.

All three Edge 20 models are compatible with Ready For PC, but the mode that turns the phone into a webcam, another feature of the technology, is not available for the Edge 20 Lite.
