What arrives in the 10.25 patch of League of Legends

New champion: Rell

Rell belongs to the region of Noxus and manipulates the metal, whether to attack with the spear, put on the armor or ride the mount. The champion’s skills are based on these characteristics and involve breaking a shield, stealing armor and magical resistance from the enemy, stunning enemy champions or creating a gravitational field that can pull the enemy team close.

Items change

New and old refurbished items have received several updates in patch 10.25. Items that were right choices, like Muramana, had a change in effect (active with physical damage skills) to focus on the target audience. Another weakening was done in the Hunter’s Armaguarda, too, to reduce dominance in buildings.

In the jungle, the Razor Blade and Razor Blade no longer cause a cycle of damage, to reduce the speed in clearing the fields by some characters.

For the supports, some items had reduced costs and others increased, changes in construction and weakening or strengthening of attributes. The reason was that the difference between the items was “out of the curve”, according to the update article, also considering that the supports do not make as many items during regular matches.

Legendary critical strike items have been strengthened, either at reduced cost or increased attributes, to assist snipers who depend on projectile damage.

Other adjustments were also made to the Mythic mana (to improve skill acceleration) and lethality (to reduce dominance of ranged champions) in order to balance matches. Nerfs were also made into tank items. The entire list and change in attributes can be seen in the patch 10.25 article of League of Legends.

Ranked

The new season is coming with some changes to the ranking system:

  • Redefining the ranks will be less, with reduced PdL gains and losses, facilitating faster arrival to the expected rank;
  • Whoever is in Diamante will use the same decay system with match storage as Mestre +;

In the Master, Grand Master and Challenger tier:

  • Each game played stores 1 day of activity, with a maximum of 10 days;
  • After 10 days of inactivity, the days stored will begin to be consumed;
  • When all stored days are consumed, the person will lose 250 PdL each day until leaving the Master rank.

On the Diamond:

  • Each game played stores 7 days of activity, with a maximum of 28 days;
  • After 28 days of inactivity, the days stored will begin to be consumed (this initial period is not applied if the person falls from the Master + to the Diamond);
  • When all stored days are consumed, the person will lose 50 PdL each day until he leaves the Diamond rank.
