Snyder Cut is finally among us! And during the four hours of film, many easter eggs from DC comics and the Cinematographic Universe were included. Check now the main references made in the Justice League by Zack Snyder.
Darkseid and Steppe Wolf

One of the main differences of the film is the consolidation of Darkseid as the main villain. In the 2017 version, the Steppe Wolf was the only antagonist in the film. In Snyder’s view, Darkseid is the real head behind it all, even being the one who tried to conquer the Earth for millennia.
Joker

One of Snyder Cut’s most anticipated appearances, The Joker (by Jared Leto), brought some answers and mentions to moments of Batman vs. Super man.
In the film with the two greatest DC heroes, we see that Batman has a Joker card on his weapon in the timeline of the future. Now, we know that this is a symbol of a truce between the batman and the villain.
Jared Leto’s character is also responsible for explaining that Batman’s “nightmare” was a vision for a sequence of Justice League. Apparently, in the not too distant future, Darkseid’s army would be responsible for Lois Lane’s death. The loss of his love, would turn Superman into a maniac, a story very similar to the one presented in the game Injustice.

During the flashback with Darkseid, we see one of the members of the Green Lantern Corps, Yalan Gur, die during the battle. In the comics, this character was corrupted by his own power and turned against the humans of Earth.
Desaad

In several moments of the film, the Steppe Wolf seems to talk to a being called Desaad, being the main point of contact between the villain and his home world. It is worth remembering that, in the comics, Desaad is a torturer who serves Darkseid.
Vulko’s presence

If Zack Snyder’s version had been released in 2017, we would know Vulko before the film Aquaman. In his scene, the Atlantis throne advisor and Arthur’s childhood teacher mentions King Orm and the “mother’s trident.”
Deaths of heroes

In the future when Darkseid conquers Earth and Superman succumbs to the side of evil, several important characters are killed. To prevent this from happening, heroes send Flash back in time. In Snyder Cut, we see that Aquaman, Wonder Woman and Harlequin are among the casualties. The scene also features Mera, Flash and Terminator with different visuals.

Is Lois Lane pregnant?

When Lois takes her press pass from the drawer, we can see a pregnancy test inside. We do not know if the journalist is really expecting a baby, but the moment refers to other plots in the comics.
Also, as it was mentioned that Lois is the key to saving Earth, perhaps her son with Superman was in the plans for the DC sequels.
Ignition point

To avoid Darkseid’s reign of terror, Flash uses the Force of Haste and mentions the Flash Point. This is the name of an important series in the world’s fastest man comic. In this story, Barry travels in time to save his mother as a child and ends up creating a dystopian alternative reality.
Commissioner Gordon and Bat-Sinal

One of the most important characters in the Batman arc, Commissioner Gordon, meets the team of heroes and even helps them with some useful information. The policeman also uses the Bat-signal, which is always a special moment for all batman fans.
Atlantis x Themyscira

In one of the scenes in the feature, Diana suggests that her realm and Aquaman’s have been at war in the past. In the comics, this dispute is provoked several times until it reaches its peak in the Flashpoint.
Cameo by Zack Snyder

The director makes a small appearance in the film itself. When Lois is going to get her coffee, Snyder is sitting at the store window. In the movie version, the scene had been cut.
Hooks for the future

The original idea of Zack Snyder was that the film had a sequence and, with the hooks that the director leaves in the epilogue of the feature, it is clear that he was counting on these future productions.
The first is the agreement between Lex Luthor and the Exterminator, in which Luthor reveals the true identity of the batman.
The second loose end comes after Batman has a new doomsday nightmare and welcomes the Mars Hunter into his home. The character mentions the Anti-Life Equation and makes himself available to be an ally of the Justice League.
