The HMC900 is a Hyrax by Motospeed microphone designed for demanding people looking for quality and versatility to produce great audio and video content. The model arrives on the Brazilian market with a recording monitor without delay, which allows you to hear your voice clearly while recording, USB-C connection that does not require the use of a soundboard, return plug (3.5 mm), in addition to Rugged, fully adjustable cylindrical design, including dedicated buttons to control gain, audio volume and mute.
Even with a gamer DNA, being an excellent choice for livestream, the HMC900 stands out in the market for being able to meet different audiences. Whether you plan to use it during a game, to record YouTube videos, a podcast, or even a song, find out below how the HMC900 can help you explore creativity.
The product design is minimalist and flexible. It features high quality aluminum and metal materials, making the device tough and durable. The base is non-slip with an anti-shock effect and stays firm on any surface, without running the risk of slipping and falling. The aluminum alloy, on the other hand, is so rigid that minor damage to the outside does not spoil the internal parts and the pickup. The advantage of the Hyrax HMC900’s 360° design is that the user can make position adjustments and, if preferred, the microphone can be attached to a swivel arm (sold separately) — a universal screw adapter is included with the product for ease of installation.
The audio capture quality of the Hyrax HMC900 is surprising, compared to professional XLR models, but without the need for a table or sound card to work, making it a smart choice for those who want to produce quality content but don’t has all the apparatus of a studio. In addition to having a good and adjustable gain, it allows a wide capture for group recordings, as well as greatly reduces noise in cardioid mode, making it ideal for capturing voice or a musical instrument.
In the structure itself, you have access to all the microphone control, which makes it very easy to make the recording adjustments. On the front are placed the gain and mute knob and the headphone volume, for latency-free feedback. The equipment has a P2 connector for the user to follow what is being broadcast live. And all communication with the computer/cell/tablet is done through the USB-C connection on the back and the good news is that Hyrax already sends the cable in the box.
Hyrax by Motospeed’s HMC900 features HI-FI performance with cardioid and omnidirectional pickup. The first mode is ideal for streamers, gameplays, narrations and podcasts, while the second can be activated to record vocals and interviews, as it is capable of capturing all directions. It has 20Hz to 18KHz frequency response and -38dB +/- 2dB sensitivity (0dB = 1V / Pa, 1KHz).
You can easily connect it to multiple devices without the need to use drivers or sound card. It is compatible with PCs (Windows 7,8,10, via USB 2.0 or later); Macs (Mac OS 10.7.5 or later via USB 2.0 or later) as well as Android devices via USB-OTG adapter (Android 5.1 or later); and iPhones (iOS). On both the tablet and mobile phone, communication can be done seamlessly with a USB-C to USB-C/micro USB cable (not included).
The HMC900 is now available in Brazil through Kabum, and is sold with a 36-month warranty. You can also follow @hyraxoficial and @motospeedbrasil on Instagram for more product information and other news.
