Banco Inter account holders can now make transfers and payments using the PIX. The Central Bank’s new instant payment system operates 24 hours a day, every day, including holidays and weekends, appearing as an evolution of the traditional TED and DOC.
Recently launched by the Central Bank, the tool is free and can be used to send and receive money to customers of any bank, with the amount reaching the recipient in a few seconds.
After showing how PIX works at Banco do Brasil, C6 Bank and PicPay, it was time to learn how to make a PIX at Banco Inter. In the tutorial below, we explain how to transfer and receive to your account in a very simple way.
Register PIX keys at Banco Inter
The easiest way to make a PIX is using the keys, which can be your CPF, cell phone number or email. There is also the possibility to generate a random key, created by the bank itself.
Using one of these codes, it is not necessary to enter the recipient’s agency and account numbers, just enter the key when transferring.
To register your keys at Inter (you can have up to five of them), follow these steps:

Open the bank’s app, login and tap “PIX” on the home page;

Then choose “Key management”.

Now, press “Register key”.

Transfer by Inter PIX
After registering the keys, which will be used to receive from other people, we go to the steps to make a transfer via PIX on the Banco Inter app.
This option can be activated when you need to send money at any time, without being tied to conventional banking hours. Instead of doing TED or DOC, follow the tips below.
Step 1
On your account’s home screen, tap “PIX”.

Select the “Pay” option.

Choose one of the available options (QR Code, CPF / CNPJ key, cell phone, email, bank details or code).

Then, read the QR Code or inform the data of who will receive it, according to the option chosen.

Enter the transfer amount.

Confirm the recipient’s details and tap “Pay”.

Then, the app will display the transaction receipt, which can be stored and (or) shared.

How to receive a PIX through Inter?
Do you need to receive any amount? Use the receipt function provided by the bank, through which the money arrives on time.

Open the app and tap “PIX”.

Choose “Static PIX” or “Dynamic PIX”, as needed.

Select the key that will be used in the transaction and tap “Continue”.

Enter the amount to be received, the identification and description information, if you wish, and press “Continue”.

Tap “Share to receive” and choose how you want to send the code to the person who will be making the payment.
