He decides to hire him as a mechanic for the police service. Thus, using his authority in his department, he hired Lino full-time as a mechanic and even reduced his sentence. Determined to prove that Charas does the right thing by trusting him. Lino vows never to get involved in the world of crime again.
Meanwhile, at the scene of another crime. Charas recovers an air injection from the criminals’ car. He then remembers that he found a very similar device in Lino’s car when he caught him robbing the jewelry store. When he questions Lino about this, he realizes that his brother is still involved with some thugs. And that it was he who presented these criminals with the injection diversion device. Charas and Lino set out to interview Lino’s brother Quentin to get him on the right track. But while they’re at it, Quentin’s gang members introduce themselves and try to scare Charas and Lino with their heavy weapons. That’s when two other cops from the Charas team show up and the thugs are forced to give up.
Why did Areski kill Charas?
Just as Lino and Charas get into Charas’ car and try to take Quentin to the police station. One of the cops, Areski, shoots Charas at point blank range. As Charas dies instantly, Lino barely escapes with his brother. This reveals that the other two cops had been involved in a criminal gang all this time.
And that, just when they realized their secret was about to be known. They decided to suppress all evidence by killing their senior officer Charas. The two cops then used Lino’s criminal past against him and convinced the others that he had killed Charas. As a result, Lino is labeled as a cop killer and he becomes his city’s most wanted criminal.
What is Lino’s plan?
At the beginning of Lost Ball on Netflix, Lino finds himself in a dead end where he has no proof of his innocence. But he then learns that after Charas’ death, his car was not destroyed, but hidden. This car serves as crucial evidence since when Areski shot Charas. One of his bullets had entered the dashboard of the car. Despite this, even after finding the car, it is up to Lino to bring him to a forensic expert to prove his innocence.
And knowing that Areski is determined to stop him, Lino uses his knowledge of cars to modify the car so that it is able to get through everything in its path. It attaches a huge steel guard to the front bumper of the car. And when a barrage of police cars tries to stop him, he breaks through with his invention.
Explanation of the end of Lost Ball on Netflix
Unfortunately for Lino, despite his efforts in the service of justice, Areski manages to catch him. While Lino tries to beat him up, Areski cleverly plants a grenade in the trunk of Lino’s car. With that, the only evidence of Lino begins to burn. But even now, he refuses to give up and races the car to a nearby garage. Fortunately for him, he got there in time and managed to save the car. With the front of the car still intact, the forensic team managed to recover the bullet from his dashboard and prove that it was Areski who shot Charas. To the end of Lost Ball, Lino finally becomes a free man, and Charas’ half-burned car becomes his memorial.
The end of Balle Perdue on Netflix also shows how, despite his criminal past. Lino was actually the one who was on the right track from the start. This somewhat blurs the line between good and evil and shows how Charas was right from the start. When he was alive, even after being a cop, he believed in a convict like Lino. Because he saw beyond his criminal behavior. Charas’ trust in Lino also plays a crucial role in getting Lino on the right track. Without Charas’ trust, Lino would never have had such a keen sense of justice.
