ESL Pro League Season 13 began on Monday (8). The tournament Counter Strike: Global Offensive brings together 24 teams that compete for the total prize pool of US $ 750 thousand (about R $ 4.3 million). The knockout stage takes place between 8 and 29 March. The playoffs will be held from April 8 to 10, with the grand final on April 11. Check the complete championship schedule below.
ESL Pro League of Counter-Strike: Global Offensive (Press Release / ESL)
This edition of the tournament will be completely online, due to the COVID-19 pandemic; it is broadcast live on the ESL Pro League Twitch channel. Brazil is represented by the teams FURIA Esports, MIBR and Team oNe, as well as athletes Gabriel “FalleN” Toledo, Marcelo “coldzera” David and Wilton “zews” Prado, who are part of Team Liquid, FaZe and Evil Geniuses, respectively.
Tournament format
The ESL Pro League Season 3 will have a group stage, play-in and playoffs. In the first phase, the 24 teams will be divided into four groups with six participants, who will face each other in a better series of three matches (MD3) in search of points. The 2nd and 3rd place go to the first stage of the playoffs, while the first place of each group advances directly to the play-ins.
The two play-in winning teams guarantee a place in the semifinals of the tournament. The other two teams are placed in the quarterfinals. The confrontations in both the play-in and playoffs are in MD3. The champion of the grand final will be decided in a best-of-five series (MD5).

Playoffs and grand final (April 9-11)
The ESL Pro League Season 13 playoffs take place on April 9 and 10, with a match at 10:30 am and another at 2:00 pm on both days. The grand final will be on April 11 at 10:30 am.
Tournament Prize
The total prize for the ESL Pro League Season 3 is US $ 750,000 (about R $ 4.3 million). The first place winner takes US $ 175 thousand (around R $ 1 million) and guarantees a place in the Global Final of the 2021 Blast Premiere, which takes place between December 14th and 19th.
From the second place onwards, the prize pool is divided as follows:
- 2nd place: US $ 60 thousand (R $ 343 thousand)
- 3rd and 4th places: US $ 30 thousand (R $ 171 thousand)
- 5th and 6th places: US $ 15 thousand (R $ 86 thousand)
