Jakarta, IDN Times – The House of Representatives Commission XI approved the Ministry of Finance’s ceilings in the Ministry of Finance’s Preliminary Budget Discussion Meeting for Fiscal Year 2021 with a budget of Rp42.36 trillion.
Deputy Minister of Finance Suahasil Nazara said next year’s budget to support priority programs to be undertaken by the Ministry of Finance in 2021.
“There are three priorities of the Ministry of Finance, firstly concerning economic resilience for quality and equitable economic growth, secondly increasing quality and competitive human resources,” he said in a joint meeting of the House of Representatives Commission XI in Jakarta on Tuesday (23/6).
1. There are five programs that will be carried out by 12 echelon 1 units of the Ministry of Finance
In detail, the funds will be used for five programs that will be carried out by 12 echelon 1 units in the Ministry of Finance next year.
First, the fiscal policy program, worth Rp60.05 billion which will be carried out by the Fiscal Policy Agency (BKF), Directorate General of Tax (DGT), Directorate General of Customs and Excise (DJBC), Directorate General of Budget (DJA), Directorate General of Fiscal Balance (DJA) DGT), and the Directorate General of Financing and Risk Management (DGT).
Second, the management of state revenue with a budget of Rp1,942 trillion, which will involve DGT, DJBC, and DJA. In this program, there are several strategic activities including strategic activities carried out, improving logistical performance through the development of a national logistick ecosystem to be carried out by DJBC,
“Then development compliance risk management “To increase taxpayer compliance, the DGT will conduct it,” he said.
Third, supporting the management of state expenditure with a budget of Rp34.67 billion, which will be carried out by the DJA, DJPK, and DJPPR. The strategic activities to be carried out by the DJA are related to the policy recommendations of the regional performance allowance RPP, formulating a budgeting policy related to the improvement of the national health insurance ecosystem.

2. Next year’s budget also includes several strategic activities
Then fourth, it concerns the management of treasury, state wealth, and risk with a budget of Rp248.62 billion. This will be done by the Directorate General of Treasury (DJPB), the Directorate General of State Assets (DJKN), DJPPR, and the Inspectorate General (Itjen).
“Later there will be a number of strategic activities to be carried out including business processes from the ultra-micro financing alignment (UMI) to be carried out by the DGT. Then the implementation of the institutional level accounting system (SAKTI) will be carried out nationally by DGT,” he explained.
Fifth, management support with a budget of Rp. 40.08 trillion will be undertaken by all echelon I units of the Ministry of Finance including public service agencies (BLU).
3. DPR recommends that the government must follow up on BPK’s examination
Chairman of the House of Representatives Commission XI Dito Ganinduto said the government must also follow up the results of the examination of the Supreme Audit Board and submit it to Commission XI. Then the government must provide written answers to questions and responses from leaders and members of the Indonesian Parliament.
“That way we approve the Ministry of Finance’s indicative ceiling for the 2021 RAPBN,” he explained.
