Screen and design: advantage for the Redmi Note 10 Pro

While the Redmi Note 10 and Redmi Note 10S have equal 6.43-inch screens with Full HD + resolution and standard refresh rate (60 Hz), the Redmi Note 10 Pro comes out ahead with a larger 6.67 ”panel , also Full HD +, but with a refresh rate of 120 Hz, which in practice provides the feeling of greater graphic fluidity. In all models, it is an AMOLED display, screen technology that offers vivid colors and good contrasts.

In size and weight, the conventional Redmi Note 10 is also the same as the Redmi Note 10S. However, the color options are different: we have gray, white and green in the first, and gray, white and blue in the second. The Redmi Note 10 Pro is sold in gray, blue and bronze – the Pro version is heavier and larger, due to the screen, which also grows in relation to the other two devices.

The three models are IP53 certified, against dust and water splashes. Xiaomi also warns that the resistance is not permanent and can deteriorate naturally over time.

Hardware: one processor for each model

Each model in this comparison has a different processor. Two of them use Qualcomm chips, the Redmi Note 10 (Snapdragon 678) and the Redmi Note 10 Pro (Snapdragon 732G).

Speaking of these models first: the “Pro” delivers the best performance with a processor geared towards games and which is more energy efficient. The Redmi Note 10 Pro also has a larger amount of RAM (6 GB, against 4 GB of the conventional model). That way, you should better handle multitasking and background apps.

The conventional Redmi Note 10 is more suitable for those who do not have high demand for games, but want a cell phone with decent performance for everyday use. Still, it is worth remembering that the model manages to deliver a good performance with several titles, such as Free Fire and Call of Duty (as long as the graphics are not at the maximum in the latter).

Moving now to the Redmi Note 10S, Xiaomi bet on the Helio G95 processor, MediaTek’s gamer model also present in Realme 7. In practice, you should be able to run any game from the Play Store without any problems. In this model, the RAM memory is also 6 GB.

All three devices in the Redmi Note 10 line have versions in 64 GB or 128 GB, and there is the possibility of expansion via microSD of up to 512 GB. In terms of connectivity, 5G is not supported in any of the three, and only the 10S and 10 Pro models have NFC.

Battery: enough for most

With 5,000 mAh, the Redmi Note 10 and Redmi Note 10S should deliver a full day of use with ease for most people. Both have a 33 W fast charge – the conventional model promises 50% charge in just 25 minutes.

The Redmi Note 10 Pro is not that far away, with 5,020 mAh and 33 W fast charging. Remember that it has the most economical chip among the three. On the other hand, the display with a refresh rate of 120 Hz can contribute to higher energy consumption.

Cameras: Redmi Note Pro has a 108 MP camera

In the cameras we have some of the main differences between the models. Starting with the conventional Redmi Note 10, there is a simpler quadruple camera here, with a 48 megapixel main sensor, which is already quite common in the intermediate segment. The auxiliary lenses bring sensors of 8 MP (ultrawide), 2 MP (depth) and the infamous 2 MP for macro photos (which we know that, in general, does not return the best results).

In the Redmi Note 10S, we take a leap with the main sensor, which changes to 64 MP, while the other lenses and sensors remain the same as the conventional model.

Finally, the Redmi Note 10 Pro reaches 108 MP with the main sensor, and also has an upgrade in the telemacro lens, which has 5 megapixels and promises more decent photos in this mode. In fact, a footnote is that what differentiated the Pro and Pro Max models in India was the 108 MP camera (there, it belonged to the Pro Max and, in Brazil, it arrived with the Pro model).

For selfies, the upgrade is only on the most expensive model. While the Redmi Note 10 and 10S have 13 MP on the front camera, the Redmi Note 10 Pro brings 16 megapixels and promises better-defined portraits.

All models shoot up to 4K at 30 fps with the rear camera and up to 1080p at 60 fps with the front camera.
