Assassin’s Creed Valhalla
The latest installment in the famous Ubisoft saga surprises us to bring forward his release date to attend the Xbox Series X and Series S launch on November 10. The Xbox Series X and Series S versions of AC Valhalla will take advantage of the power of both consoles, with more polished shadows, higher resolution for textures or a display in 4K and 60 FPS (only on Xbox Series X). Note that this early release concerns all media: Xbox Series X and Series S, but also PS4, Xbox One, PC and Google Stadia. The PS5 is not mentioned for lack of an official release date.
After Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, it’s the turn of Watch Dogs Legion to confirm its presence at the launch of the Xbox Series X and Series S on November 10, 2020. The open world game developed by Ubisoft Toronto and co-produced by Ubisoft Montreal, Paris, Bucharest and Kiev will also have some notable improvements on Xbox Series X, starting with Ray-Tracing support.
In addition, the title is labeled Smart Delivery, which means that users who have purchased the game on Xbox One will be able to get Xbox Series X version for free. Same story for PS4 players, who will be able to claim at no additional cost to the PS5 version of the game. As a reminder, the release of Watch Dogs Legion on PS4, Xbox One, Stadia and PC is still set at October 29, 2020.
The excellent Gears Tactics will also be available at the launch of the Xbox Series X and Series S on November 10, 2020. The turn-based strategy game from studio Splash Damage will also enter the Xbox Game Pass catalog on the same date. As a reminder, the title establishes itself as a spin-off of the famous Gears Of War saga, one of Microsoft’s flagship franchises.
The game has been available on PC since April 28, 2020 and has been praised by gamers and critics alike for its cool technique, respect for the GOW universe, full customization and excellent gameplay mechanics that allow you to launch rather devastating combos.
We don’t yet know the details of the improvements that will benefit players on Xbox Series X, but we suspect that we can claim shorter load times, a smoother experience, and refined graphics.
Dirt 5, the racing game developed by CodeMaster will also land on Xbox Series X and Series S on November 10, 2020. For the occasion, the developers have just published a small two-minute gameplay clip, during which we can discover the joys of driving on ice in New York.
Like many games cross-gen, buyers of the PS4 and Xbox One versions will be entitled to a free update to Xbox Series X and PS5 versions. These versions will also offer a display mode in 120 frames per second.
