Lysey’s story – June 4th

Based on Stephen King’s bestseller, and adapted by the author himself, “Lisey’s Story” is a thriller that follows Lisey Landon (Julianne Moore) two years after the death of her husband, famous novelist Scott Landon (Clive Owen).

A series of disturbing events causes Lisey to face memories that her mind had blocked during the period of her marriage to Scott.

The series, directed by Pablo Larraín, has eight episodes.

Dear… –  June 5th

“Dear…” is a series comprised of 10 thrilling documentaries that take an inventive and cinematic approach to the biographies of society’s most iconic figures, using letters written by people whose lives have been changed through their work.

Each episode stars a world-renowned personality, including. Oprah Winfrey, Gloria Steinem, Spike Lee, Lin-Manuel Miranda, Yara Shahidi, Stevie Wonder, Aly Raisman, Misty Copeland, Big Bird and more.

Home Before Dark – Season 2 – June 11th

Home Before Dark is a mystery drama series inspired by the reporting of a young investigative journalist, Hilde Lysiak. Directed and produced by Jon M. Chu, the series follows a young woman named Hilde (Brooklynn Prince) who moves from Brooklyn to a small town her father left behind.

Due to her relentless pursuit of the truth Hilde discovers a filed case that everyone in town, including her own father, has struggled to bury. In season two, when a mysterious explosion hits a local farm, Hilde starts an investigation that will lead her to fight a powerful and influential corporation.

Physical – June 18

Set in 1980s San Diego beach paradise, “Physical” is a comedy that follows Sheila Rubin, a silently tortured, apparently obedient housewife who supports her husband’s candidacy for the state assembly. However, Sheila has her own dark and funny take on life.

She struggles with problems with her self-image until she finds release through the world of aerobics. The protagonist finds her way to empowerment when she finds a way to unite her passion with the growing technology of videotapes to start a revolutionary business.

The series has 10 episodes.

Fathom – June 25th

“Fathom” is a documentary that follows Dr. Ellen Garland and Dr. Michelle Founet, two scientists who study the social communication of Humpback whales. As they embark on parallel research journeys on opposite sides of the world, they seek to better understand the culture and communication of these animals.

The documentary uniquely reveals a deep commitment and reverence to the scientific process and the universal human need to seek answers about the world around us.

Central Park – Season 2 – June 25

In season two, the Tillerman family continues to live and run the most famous park in the world.

Molly experiences the trials and tribulations of adolescence, Cole is challenged by a truly embarrassing time at school, Paige continues to pursue the mayor’s story of corruption, and Owen juggles to manage the park, his staff, and his family, all with a smile at the face.
