Even before the streamings became popular in the country, many American serials were successful on Brazilian TV, leaving longing among fans. To remember some of these productions, we list 10 old series from the 80s, 90s and early 2000s, which are currently not in any Brazilian streaming app, but which would certainly look good in the catalog of some platform. 1. Alf, The ETeimoso
Mix of comedy and science fiction, Alf, The ETeimoso passed on Sunday afternoons on TV Globo. In production, we are introduced to extraterrestrial Alf (puppet manipulated by actor Paul Fusco and played in full body by Michu Meszaros), who, following an amateur radio signal, ends up on Earth, where he is welcomed by the Tanner family.

3. Barred at the Ball
Teen drama that marked a generation and was one of the precursors of the genre, Barred at the Ball follows in the footsteps of the Walsh family when they decide to move from Minessota to Beverly Hills. In this new scenario, his twin sons start to live the dramas and happiness of the youth, together with the new friends they make.
The series reboot, launched in 2008 and called Barrados no Baile – Nova Geração, is available on Globoplay.

5. The Dinosaur Family
One of the most successful old American series during the 90s in Brazil, The Dinosaur Family was originally produced by Disney as a children’s series. Starring dolls, the series follows a very funny dinosaur family that lives in a society dominated by its species.

Starring Mayim Bialik (The Big Bang Theory), Blossom it revolves around a 15-year-old teenager of the same name, quite intelligent and sarcastic. 7. Three is Too Much
American TV Phenomenon, Three is too much launched the Olsen twins on television. The show shows the story of a man who lost his wife in a car accident, and to take care of his two young daughters and their newborn baby, he counts on the help of his brother-in-law and his best friend.
A spin-off of the series called Fuller House that takes place years after the original show, was released by Netflix in 2016.

8. Sabrina, Apprentice Witch
Based on the Archie Comics comics, Sabrina, Apprentice Witch The protagonist is a teenager who, at the age of 16, discovers that she is a witch. Assisted by her magical aunts and her talking cat, she must learn to deal with her powers, knowing how to tame them and use them for good.
In 2018 Netflix released an original remake of the series, called The Dark World of Sabrina.

9. Desperate Housewives

10. Punky, The Levada da Breca
Originally broadcast in Brazil by SBT, Punky, The Levada da Breca its protagonist is a funny little girl, abandoned by her father and mother. Adopted by a widowed gentleman, she and her dog begin to lead a much more comfortable and loving life, at the same time that they get into various messes.
